Aiden Turns Two! {Sarasota Toddler Photographer}

I was absolutely thrilled when Vanessa told me that her and Mark were making a visit to Sarasota with their "big boy" Aiden. This was their first visit back since they moved to Louisiana when Aiden was only a tiny little guy. I had the privilege of shooting his newborn session, and then their first session as a family, shortly before they moved away. This visit was Aiden's first time back to his place of birth and he felt right at home at the beach! He's absolutely fascinated with the water and attempted to jump in whenever he could! Not being satisfied with a mere "foot in the water," he wanted IN. Finally, towards the end of our shoot, we let him get his wish :) Such a brave little dude and an awesome swimmer, he is! Vanessa said that he's not happy until he is in NECK deep! Hahah. I had such a blast chasing around this gorgeous little monkey and capturing his new little "2 year old" attitude ;)  Thanks so much Vanessa and Mark, it was so awesome seeing you again!!

Grayson's 6mos Island Shoot {Sarasota Baby Photographer}

First of all, I cannot believe it has already been 6 months since Grayson's newborn session!! This little rockstar of a babe has certainly grown fast..! He's got the greatest little personality and is not afraid to show it. I had such a great time capturing his laughter (special thanks to Daddy Graham), and the little expressions he makes when observing the giant world around him. We had fun incorporating some "island baby" themed shots, as Grayson and his parents are moving to Texas this coming month, and we wanted to embrace the beachy lifestyle that Sarasota represents. I am certainly sad to see them go, as I have been working with Amanda and Graham since their engagement!! I know that there will be visits, however, and more opportunities to capture the growth of their adorable little man. Until then, enjoy some of my favorites from Grayson's 6 month island shoot :)

Katy and Matthew {Sarasota Engagement Photographer}

I had such a great time with Katy and Matt for their sunrise engagement session at south Lido Beach... The waves were calm, the lighting was beautiful and the tropical breeze was soft and warm. Matt had proposed to Katy in a vineyard, so we wanted to incorporate a little wine drinking... yes, even at 7am!! This great couple did an awesome job at "forgetting" they were in front of the camera, which enabled me to capture some gorgeous intimate and genuine moments between the two of them. We had a nice time working together and afterwards enjoyed a great breakfast before they had to fly back to NYC. Thanks Katy and Matt, I'm really looking forward to your beach wedding in November!!
