The Taylors {Sarasota Family Photographer}

For Wendy Taylor's family portrait shoot, she wanted to go somewhere country and rustic. After talking with many people about a great place to use, I finally came upon the horse stables at Myakka Valley Ranches. With the old wooden barn, beautiful and friendly horses, and open land as far as you can see, there couldn't have been a more perfect location for this session! Their daughter Irely had such a cute personality and was really fun to chase around as she gathered as many sticks as she could! lol :) I really hope to work with this young country family again. Though it was difficult to narrow them down, I managed to pick out a few of my favorites to share...

Harley Kane-Hartnett {Sarasota Pet Photographer}

While visiting the Kane-Hartnett's home recently to shoot for an ad campaign, I was quickly lured in to shooting their pup when they discovered I also do pet photography! I wanted to share a few of the shots I got of Harley, a very sweet Black Lab/Chow mix.

Jan Small {Sarasota Headshot Photographer}

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Jan Small. After contacting me, we built a great relationship through email over the course of a few weeks, so by the time we finally met in person I felt as though we were old friends. She's an amazing woman and artist, from whom I have already learned a lot. We spent a beautiful afternoon in Towles Court, Sarasota's artist colony, probably talking and sharing stories more than shooting... Even so, we were able to capture many beautiful images of her genuine smile and lively spirit. Here I posted a few of my favorites.
Jan is an extremely talented custom portrait painter. Visit her site, http://jansmallpaints.com/ for more information, and to see samples of her amazing work.

Chard Family Portraits {Sarasota Family Photographer}

I used to work for Mickey Chard, so I was super excited when his wife contacted me to book their family portrait shoot at the beach. Their boys, Jordan and Jayce (both super cute), were really fun to chase around and photograph.. Although they didn't care too much about the camera, I ended with some great shots showing their unique personalities. I hope to work with them again. A very fun family, indeed:)

Chris Nathan {Sarasota Portrait Photographer}

I had a really fun time downtown St. Pete with acoustic-soul musician Chris Nathan. We first met for a couple cold ones at World of Beers, where he's famous for his live performances, then strolled around downtown to find a few nice locations for his portrait shoot.  His unique style of acoustic, soul, and hip-hop is absolutely amazing... it was actually really hard to shoot while he was playing against the fence. I was being serenaded and all I wanted to do was listen. Hahah, but I still managed to get some good shots!
Become a fan of his music on facebook, http://www.facebook.com/chrisnizzle, and make sure to check him out whenever you can. You'll seriously be glad you did.
