I was so excited to work with Dana and her family for her maternity photos, as Dana and I have been friends for a couple of years now, and it was an awesome excuse to hang out! Dana, her husband Matt, their adorable little girl Ella and I enjoyed the afternoon taking photos around Sarasota's historic neighborhood, Laurel Park. Ella cooperated really well, knowing that she'd be able to dive into the biggest piece of watermelon EVER, at the end of the session:) Dana brought along a large watermelon slice to represent her summer pregnancy and sweet cravings, and after a hot summer walk, it was the perfect way to end her shoot! I LOVE when clients bring along fun props (especially food) to incorporate into their session. They not only bring more personality to the photos, but also, in this case, are extremely thirst quenching and fun to eat!
After Ella and Matt went home to catch the end of a football game (thank you Matt for taking some time away), Dana and I captured a few more shots of just her and her beautiful baby bump.
